Conventional Hunting Safari
Conventional safari packages with plains game and dangerous game. Staying at classic 4-5 star African hunting lodges with all amenities. Full-board all-inclusive packages including daily meals, snacks, alcohol, and excursions for non-hunters. Concessions throughout South Africa, and other African destinations. Old School Hunting Experience
The way it was done in the early bygone days of Africa hunting. You will travel to where the game is. You will sleep in canvas ground tents with the option of a safari truck roof top tent. Meals are cooked on camp stoves or open fires. There will be a shower and privy built for the camp. You will be fully mobile, staying at one location or moving camp to another if necessary to follow the game. Each day will be unique and unpredictable and you will go with the flow to get your desired trophy animal. You will find yourself in remote locations, hours from the nearest town or camping near small primitive villages working with the locals to get your game. This is a true rugged hunting and camping adventure in the African bush. OSCS is the only agent that offers the ‘old school’ approach and can customize the safari to meet the client’s needs.
Green ‘No Kill / No Dart’ hunts
OSCS are the only booking agent in the hunting industry to offer an experience of a full hunting safari without killing or harming the animals. We do not use tranquilizer guns to dart the animal which can potentially stress or harm the animal. With our ‘green’ hunts you will work at tracking and stalking your trophy animal the same as you would on a regular hunt. You will be carrying a specially equipped rifle (provided by our outfitter) that will capture your ‘kill shot’ on a camera image. The PH will be able to tell you immediately if your shot would have taken the animal down or if the hunt needs to continue. Your trophy will be a photographic image of the animal you shot showing your shot placement. It includes all the excitement and experience of a regular hunt without actually harming the animal. The ‘green hunt’ also allows you to hunt expensive or endangered animal such as ‘black rhino’ at a significantly reduced cost. This hunt can be conducted as a ‘conventional’ or ‘old school’ safari and can be conducted in combination with regular plains or dangerous game hunts. Great hunting safari experience for non-hunters or new hunters.
